Protection, Gender & Social Inclusion

DEH’s Protection programme promotes the safety, dignity, and rights of vulnerable and marginalized populations, with a strong focus on gender equality and inclusion. Protection principles are mainstreamed across all DEH interventions.

Key focus areas include: 

– General protection and protection monitoring 

– Gender-based violence (GBV) risk mitigation and response 

– Psychosocial support and referral services community awareness on rights, safety, and inclusion 

– Strengthening community-based protection mechanisms.

This programme ensures that assistance is delivered in a safe, inclusive, and dignified
manner.
